Hi, I’m Sean — a Physics and Chemistry teacher, UC Berkeley physics graduate, and passionate STEM tutor based in Alameda.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and hold a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Physics (earned with a 4.0 GPA). I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Physics at San José State University.
With years of experience as both a private tutor and a full-time classroom teacher, I’ve worked with high school and college students across physics, chemistry, and math. As a Teacher of Record, I’ve taught these subjects in real high school classrooms, so I know exactly what students are expected to learn — and the common points where they tend to struggle.
My goal is simple: help students not only improve their grades, but truly understand the material so they feel confident moving forward. Whether you’re tackling AP Physics, struggling with organic chemistry, or working through calculus, I tailor every session to your specific needs and learning style.
My students consistently see significant improvements — many raise their grades by one or two full letter grades within a semester.
